The full track listing reveals that Paul has been both reverent and adventurous in his song choices.</div>

It&#8217;s Van Hagar. Or even Van That-Guy-From-Extreme.Nearly 30 years after Roth and his bandmates parted ways following the group&#8217;s &#8220;1984&#8243; album, they&#8217;re back with &#8220;A Different Kind Of Truth.&#8221;</div>

The album was recorded at the legendary Blackbird Studios in Nashville. The Fray was able to hone their sound with the help of producer Brendan O&#8217;Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, and Neil Young). On the new recording, the band transforms their real life experiences into a collection of songs that are reflective, but still maintain a pop sensibility.</div>

The album is the raucous follow up to the group s critically lauded <em>Shame, Shame</em>. Having evolved from a band whose primary creative outlet was the album making process into one that favored the energy of their live performances, Dr. Dog knew they wanted to document the new dynamic they had developed on the road. Tracking live in the studio and turning up the guitars, the band has delivered a truly great cathartic rock n roll album played with near reckless abandon and passion, blending their early punk infused energy with the songwriting craft that made <em>Fate</em> and <em>Shame, Shame</em> fan favorites.</div>

The end result is an album that runs through all the types of country songs and sounds I enjoy singing and playing. I can&#8217;t wait to share it with the fans!&#8221; &#8220;Home&#8221; follows the disc&#8217;s lead single &#8220;Am I The Only One,&#8221; which marked Dierks&#8217; eighth career #1 hit.</div>

The songwriting on tracks like &#8220;Free&#8221; and &#8220;Full Circle&#8221; is relevant and reflective, immersed with unforgettable melody and harmony, lush arrangements, and bittersweet lyrics. <em>Go Fly A Kite</em> is a celebratory offering of the essential Ben Kweller and serves as a career-defining album with the ability to resonate beyond its time.</div>

Roberta Flack has long been known as an unparalleled musician who effortlessly inhabits the worlds of pop, soul, R&amp;B, jazz and folk. From her very first recording , &#8220;The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face&#8221; which hit #1 in the U.S across all charts, Flack has created strong emotional bonds with her listeners through her poignant musicality and unerring stylizations while also shining an uncompromising light onto the culture and politics of the times. Let It Be Roberta is Flack&#8217;s first in 8 years and was produced by Sherrod Barnes, who has also produced Beyonce&#8217; and Angie Stone, with contributing producers Jerry Barnes and Barry Miles.</div>

Released in 1902, this legendary 14-minute film is widely considered one of the most important works in film history, and the very first to use science fiction as its theme, incorporating special effects that were very state-of-the-art at the turn of the 19th century. It was loosely based on two popular novels of the time: Jules Verne&#8217;s From the Earth to the Moon and H. G. Wells The First Men In The Moon. Eager to put a contemporary spin on this classic silent film, the producers decided to approach AIR&#8217;s Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel, to compose an original modern soundtrack, an enormous honor for French musicians, considering the film s place in the canon of French cinema. With the aim of premiering at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, AIR set themselves a tight deadline, locking their studio doors and working around the clock to serve these classic images with brave new sounds. Complete with a new soundtrack by AIR, the film debuted at Cannes on May 11, 2011 to immediate and unanimous acclaim.</p>
<div>Spurred on by their work on this short movie, AIR decided to develop the project into a full album inspired by the film. Expanding the original musical themes beyond cinematic instrumentals, the album also features the vocal talents of Au Revoir Simone and Victoria Legrand (Beach House). The band&#8217;s lunar fascinations have been evident since the beginning of their career with the release of the seminal 1998 classic Moon Safari. Now in 2012 Nicolas and JB have returned to explore the further regions of their very unique musical &#8220;space.&#8221;</div>

Complementing Cohen&#8217;s signature baritone on Old Ideas are the exceptional vocalists Dana Glover, Sharon Robinson, The Webb Sisters (Hattie and Charley Webb) and Jennifer Warnes. The album&#8217;s cover design and drawings are Cohen&#8217;s own. Fans were given a hint of what to expect when Cohen made remarks as the recipient of the Principe de Asturias Prize for literature in Spain in October 2011. &#8220;As I grew older, I understood that instructions came with this voice. And the instructions were these&#8230;Never to lament casually. The record delves into dub, Detroit-era Motown soul, stadium-size politi-pop, synth-folk and world music on glorious, sprawling, huge-hearted songs.  Gotye is Belgian Wouter DeBacker, 31 years old&#8230;</div>

Recorded in New Orleans at Piety Street studios, with a small group of A-List musicians that includes George Porter Jr. of the legendary Meters, this album takes the listener on Ruthie&#8217;s most personal journey yet. With her deeply moving vocals at the core, Ruthie is supported along the way by some very special guests &#8211; gospel legends The Blind Boys of Alabama and Stax Records soul man William Bell.</div>

From the exhilarating, propulsive “Runaway,” which features the entire band on lead vocals (how many other groups can make that claim?), to the expansive final statement of “Overtaken,” Roddy Bottum, Lynn Perko Truell, Will Schwartz, and Jone Stebbins feel the sound themselves and, in turn, make the listener feel it in ways immediate and pleasurable but also lasting and haunting. Like the sharpest pop music, Feel the Sound gets you to keep coming back for more, but unlike so much music today, it rewards you for doing so, giving you the experience of a fulfilled and yet still yearning, lively potential, one that will be further realized when the songs are performed live.</div>

Mr. Walker&#8217;s raspy, powerhouse voice is out front while his stinging guitar cuts through the uncluttered arrangements. He contributed three original compositions and worked with Mr. Hambridge and Richard Fleming on two other new tunes; another new one, the smoldering Hambridge-Fleming song &#8221;What It&#8217;s Worth,&#8221; was earmarked for Bobby Blue Bland until Mr. Walker stepped in. The disc closes with a hot cover of Hank Snow&#8217;s &#8221;Movin&#8217; On.&#8221;</div>

It&#8217;s about a girl that I once knew. She took my love then ran around with EVERY single guy in town. That was 1961, and Dion had a big hit about a slut named Sue. These days, Sue would have her own reality TV show. Dion released <strong>Bronx in Blue</strong> in 2006, and <strong>Son</strong> <strong>of Skip James</strong> in 2007. Tank Full of Blues completes the trilogy of albums chocked full of blues and roots-rock tunes, sung by Dion accompanying himself on acoustic guitar.</div>

Woman (40th Anniversary Edition)</em></strong> (Rhino 2-CD) features a never-before-heard song, She Smells So Nice, which captures the band joyfully barreling through a full-throttle original before segueing into the blues standard Rock Me. As the song closes, Morrison can be heard chanting, Mr. Mojo Risin &#8211;an anagram of his name that was made famous during the bridge of L.A. Woman. The track was recently discovered by producer Bruce Botnick while reviewing the L.A. WOMAN session tapes.<br />
In addition to She Smells So Nice, the second disc of the L.A. WOMAN reissue includes eight never-before-heard versions of songs from the album. Alternate takes of L.A. Woman, Love Her Madly and Riders On The Storm offer a fresh view on this landmark album, which was the group s sixth straight Top 10. The studio chatter between the songs is a revelation, transporting listeners to The Doors Workshop: the West Hollywood rehearsal space where they recorded the album with Botnick. One segment in particular captures a fascinating moment of inspiration when Morrison suggests they add the now-iconic thunderstorm sound effects to the beginning of Riders On The Storm.</div>

<div>Roll away the dew and pass the biscuits! Fresh from a year-and-a-half touring hiatus, and back to full, two-drummer strength, the Dead opened for The Who as part of Bill Graham s historic Day on the Green concerts in 1976. This 4-disc set which is among the cleanest soundboard recordings in the entire series captures both dates in their entirety, and features one of the most monumental medleys (and that s sayin something!) in band history with a 60-minute, 10-song journey through St. Stephen/Not Fade Away/St. Stephen/Help on the Way/Slipknot!/Drums/Samson and Delilah/Slipknot!/Franklin s Tower/One More Saturday Night on the first day. Day two offers excellent takes on two solo Garcia favorites, Might as Well and The Wheel, that were new to the concert repertoire and a particularly fine Ramble on Rose. Bill Graham had honored the Dead by selecting them to close the year s stellar series of Day on the Green concerts, and that perhaps coupled with the presence of formidable co-headliners The Who sparked some of the band s finest performances of the period. Never before at music retail, and one of the rarest volumes in the series!</div>

That s set one; set two is mainly devoted to a ferocious medley of Playing in the Band/Drums/Space/The Wheel/Playing in the Band/Morning Dew. <div>The late Alex Chilton was the soulful lead singer of The Box Tops (<em>my baby she wrote me a letter</em>) but he never had the opportunity to perform his original songs with the band. Although he was under contract with American Studios, he snuck into Ardent Studios to record his own music. This album is sort of the bridge from the Box Tops to his critically acclaimed group <strong>Big Star</strong>. The music is inventive and played with lots of spirit, some R&amp;B, a little country flavor, and a wacked out version of &#8220;Jumping Jack Flash&#8221;.</div>

<div>16 years ago, Charlie Haden and Hank Jones released an album called &#8220;Steal Away&#8221;. It is a 5 star, must-own, collection  of spirituals, hymns and folk songs; duets for piano and bass. <strong>Come Sunday</strong> was recorded in 2010, just 3 months before pianist Hank Jones passed away. Ironically, there are a couple of Christmas songs (God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and It Came Upon A Midnight Clear) which might be cool, but Christmas just ended! This album actually has superior sound to &#8220;Steal Away&#8221;, and you can always skip the Christmas songs until next December.</div>
